In the NeSmith Crate Late Model division a $1,000-to-win event was held, and it would be a great night for Eric as he began his night by setting fast time in his group to earn a front row starting spot, alongside Chase Washington. For the first half of the feature it would be a repeat of Friday night's main event as Cooley led the way with Washington in pursuit. However, Washington would soon find his way to the lead as Cooley slipped to second. However, a few laps later Cooley would shoot to the lead, but the race would be far from over as a few laps later Jeremy Shaw moved to the lead. In the closing laps Eric would battle back to the front on his way to his third win of the 2012 season. He was followed across the finish line by Jeremy Shaw, Chase Washington, Evan Ellis, and Kyle Shaw.
In the $8,000-to-win, Super Late Model event, with 43 entries on hand, Eric's luck would not be as good as he would fall just short of transferring to the feature via his heat race and b-main, which brought his night to a disappointing, early end.

Once out front Cooley would find the going to be far from easy as Chris Wilson made a late race charge to try and take the top spot. Eric would fend off the advances from Wilson as he went on to pick up the biggest win of his career. He was followed across the finish line by Wilson, Compton Jr., Jake Teague, and Chase Edge.
