1September 5th, 2014 - The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model competitors returned to Crowley's Ridge Speedway (Paragould, Arkansas) on Friday night to contest the $3,000-to-win program that was nixed by rain one week ago.

Thirty-one entries were on hand for the event, and Eric started his night with a heat race win to lock into the second starting spot for the finale. The opening laps of the finale were plagued by cautions, and during one of them Cooley began leaking fluid and was forced to retire as his night came to an early end. He was credited with a 20th place finish in the final rundown.

August 31st, 2014 - After both COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) events were nixed by rain, Eric Cooley returned to his home track on Sunday evening for an event in his #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model. Twenty-five competitors took to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi), and via time trials Eric locked into the pole position for the feature. 1August 23rd, 2014 - Eric Cooley went into battle over the weekend with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) in the #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright Super Late Model. Action opened on Friday night at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) with a $3,000-to-win event, which drew a field of 23 entries to the 1/3 mile oval. Eric fell short of locking into the feature via qualifications, but a third place finish in the first b-main earned him the thirteenth starting spot on the grid. He went on to advance nine spots to finish fourth behind race winner, Bub McCool, Chris Wall, and Josh Putnam.

Saturday night found the competition invading Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for another $3,000-to-win program as the entry list increased to twenty-four entrants. Eric earned the twelfth starting spot for the 50 lap feature after finishing second in his respective b-main. In the finale Eric registered a sixteenth place finish in the final rundown.

1August 2nd, 2014 - Eric Cooley competed with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Models on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) in a $2,500-to-win event that attracted twenty entries to the 1/3 mile oval. Qualifications saw Cooley timing in second in Group #1, and finishing fourth in the dash to position himself starting fourth on the feature grid. He would race around the top five for much of the event before crossing the finish line in fourth behind race winner, Chad Thrash, Bub McCool, and Brian Rickman. 1July 26th, 2014 - Eric Cooley returned to Moulton Speedway (Danville, Alabama) on Friday night for an unsanctioned $2,000-to-win program. Eric took his #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright Super Late Model into battle against a field of twenty-four entries. Cooley locked into the outside-front-row starting spot for the finale, and on the third of three attempts to start the race he over powered polesitter Ronnie Johnson for the top spot. Cooley went on to lead all 40 laps for his second victory of the season over Johnson, Ronny Lee Hollingsworth, Kyle Beard, and Josh Putnam. 1On Saturday night the Bryson Motorsports team traveled to North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) for another $2,000-to-win Super Late Model program. Eric timed in second overall during qualifications, which once again positioned him starting outside-front-row for the feature event. When the race went green, fellow front row starter Kyle Beard bolted to the race lead. While Cooley kept Beard within striking distance throughout much of the race he was never able to make a challenge for the top spot and settled into a second place finish. July 4th, 2014 - Eric traveled to Moulton Speedway (Danville, Alabama) on Friday night for a Weekly Racing Series program. Cooley set fast time overall among fifteen entries to lock into the pole position for the feature. Cooley assumed the point at the drop of the green flag and led for much of the event before a mechanical failure on his #33 Bryson Motorsports Super Late Model brought his night to an early end. 1June 14th, 2014 - Eric Cooley entered the annual Clash at the Mag at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) over the weekend, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series).

A strong field of forty-four Super Late Models entered the event. A third place finish in heat race action on Friday night earned Eric the twelfth starting spot on the grid for the $20,000-to-win, 100 lap finale. He raced around mid-pack for much of Saturday night's feature, which was taped by the Lucas Oil Production Studios cameras, before registering a thirteenth place finish at the checkered flag.

1May 31st, 2014 - Eric Cooley entered a Weekly Racing Series event at Moulton Speedway (Danville, Alabama) on Saturday night in his #33 Bryson Motorsports Super Late Model. Fifteen entries were on hand for the program, and Eric started his outing by charging to fast time honors during qualifications. Earning him the pole position Cooley went on to lead flag-to-flag for his first victory of the 2014 season.

May 25th, 2014 - After a few weeks away from the track, Eric Cooley and the Bryson Motorsports team returned to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for a Weekly Racing Series event in his #33b Super Late Model. An impressive field of twenty-seven entries were on hand for the event, and after qualifying fastest overall Eric raced to a second place finish behind race winner, Jimmy Cliburn. 1April 19th, 2014 - The team traveled Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) over the weekend for a pair of events with the National Dirt Racing League (NDRL).

On Friday evening a $7,500 winner's check was posted as talented field of forty-nine competitors registered for battle at the state of the art facility. Eric missed the transfer into the 40 lap main event via heat race action, leaving him to run a b-main. Only the top two finishers would move on from the b-main as Cooley failed to reach a transfer position, bringing his night to an early end.

Saturday night saw a $12,500 top prize on the line for competitors, with another stout field of forty-six entries on hand for the NDRL event. This disappointment continued for Eric after starting deep in his heat race and only advancing to a sixth place finish, putting him in a b-main once again. Cooley failed to reach a transfer spot in the b-main as his night came to an early end.

1April 12th, 2014 - Eric Cooley took part in a single event over the weekend as he traveled to Columbus Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday night to compete in a $2,500-to-win, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model event.

Twenty-eight entries were on hand for the program, and after failing to lock into the main event via his qualifying efforts, he was left to run a b-main. A sixth to fourth run in the b-main locked Eric into the sixteenth starting spot for the main event. Despite starting deep in the pack for the feature, Cooley sliced through the field to register a solid ninth place finish at the checkered flag.

April 5th, 2014 - The team traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday evening for a Weekly Racing Series event. Thirty-four cars registered for battle, and Eric qualified ninth fastest overall to earn the ninth starting spot for the main event. During the course of the feature he advanced to a sixth place finish behind race winner Neil Baggett, Brian Rickman, Rick Rickman, Chris Smith, and Chad Thrash. 1March 29th, 2014 - Saturday night found Eric traveling to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) for the annual Jimmy Thomas Memorial. The $4,000-to-win, Southern All Star Racing Series event drew a field of twenty-four competitors, and after qualifying fourth in his respective group Cooley locked into the tenth starting spot for the finale. In the 40 lap main event Cooley would race around the top ten for much of the event before crossing the finish line in the eighth position. March 22nd, 2014 - Eric Cooley and the Bryson Motorsports team traveled to Boyd's Speedway in Riggold, Georgia on Saturday night for the annual Shamrok 50 at the 1/3 mile oval. The $5,000-to-win, Sourthern All Star Racing Series (SAS) Super Late Model event drew a talented field of forty-five competitors, and after winning his b-main Cooley locked into the thirteenth starting spot for the finale. In the main event Cooley would race around mid-pack for the duration of the feature before crossing the finish line in the sixteenth position.

March 8th, 2014 - The MARS DIRTcar Series opened their 2014 Season over the weekend, sanctioning the annual Tuckassee Toilet Bowl at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tennessee).

Round #1 of the double header weekend drew thirty-five entries for a $3,000 prize, and Eric was locked into the fifth spot for the main event via a second place finish in his heat race. The feature was shortened to 20 laps due to time constraints, and Cooley recorded a fifteenth place finish.

The weekend came to a close on Saturday night, and twenty-seven entries were on hand to battle in the $5,000-to-win finale. Eric started the night off by finishing fourth in his qualifying heat race which locked him into the fourteenth starting spot for the main event. The night would come to an early end just nine laps into the 40 lap feature when rain moved into the area. Official were forced to cancel the remainder of the event and Cooley was credited with a ninth place finish.

March 1st, 2014 - Eric Cooley took his #33 Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle over the weekend in the 17th Annual Bama Bash at East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama.

Thirty-eight drivers were registered for the $17,017-to-win National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) event, and festivities got underway with preliminary action on Friday night. Eric was only able to manage a seventh place finish in his heat race, which sent him to a b-main on Saturday night. Cooley narrowly missed the transfer into the 75 lap main event after a fifth place finish in the b-main.

February 22nd, 2014 - After a weekend off, Eric Cooley and the Bryson Motorsports team returned to action on Saturday night at Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Tennessee for the 11th Annual Winterfest.

In preliminary race action, Eric timed in second in his qualifying group among the 41 entries, locking him into an eighth place starting spot for the $3,000-to-win main event. During the course of the 40 lap feature, Cooley advanced his #33 Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model to a second place finish.

1February 8th, 2014 - Eric Cooley took his #33 Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle on Saturday afternoon in the annual Cabin Fever 40 at Boyds Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia).

Thirty entries took part in the $3,000-to-win event, and after qualifying 2nd fastest in his group Eric locked into the 5th starting spot for the 40 lap finale. He ran in the top five throughout the event, and looked to be on his way to a 5th place finish before hard contact from Jason Welshan with just four laps remaining spun Cooley to draw the caution. Series officials credited Cooley with the caution as he was put on the tail of the field. In the closing laps he rebounded to finish 9th.

1January 5th, 2014 - In most events a 2nd place finish in the main event would bring nothing but smiles to the face of Eric Cooley, but a runner-up finish for the personable young driver on Sunday afternoon in the 23rd Annual Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) proved to be a bit of bitter pill to swallow. Super Late Model competition in the annual event began on Saturday afternoon with time trials being contested for the 64 entries on hand. Cooley's weekend started on a great note as he powered his #33b Bryson Motorsports Barry Wright to the fastest time of qualifications with a 14.708 second lap around the 1/3 mile oval.

Via his qualifying performance Cooley locked into the pole position for his heat race, which he won to move onto the pole starting spot for Sunday afternoon's finale. As the finale went green Cooley jumped to the lead with fellow front row starter, William Thomas giving chase. The first half of the race found Eric cruising at the front of the pack, but by the halfway point he was encountering heavy, lapped traffic. With daytime conditions making passing difficult Cooley pressured the backmarkers before he was collected in a melee with a lapped car. The lapped car was credited with the caution, and Eric was reinstated as the leader. However, his entry sustained considerable damage in the accident, which made it a handful to control.

Over the remainder of the Cooley battled an extremely tight race car, and his battles came to a head on the white flag lap, when his car pushed exiting turn four, which allowed Thomas to slip past for the lead and the win. Eric finished a disappointing 2nd.

1November 30th, 2013 - Eric Cooley and Bryson Motorsports brought down the curtain on the 2013 season over the holiday weekend with a trip to Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Georgia) for the 13th Annual Turkey 100.

A talented field of 61 entries entered the $20,000-to-win event, and in qualifying on Friday night Cooley registered the 27th fastest time, which resulted in him starting 4th in his heat race. A 2nd place finish in the heat locked Cooley into the 11th starting spot for Saturday night's 100 lap finale.

In the feature Cooley raced around mid-pack for much of the event before ultimately registering a 14th place finish in the final rundown.

1November 16th, 2013 - Eric Cooley entered the 2nd Annual Deep Fried 75 over the weekend at Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) in an unsanctioned, $10,000-to-win Super Late Model event at the 1/4 mile oval.

Forty-four Super Late Models registered for action on Friday evening, and a 4th place finish in his heat race locked Cooley into the 15th starting spot for Saturday night's 75 lap finale.

On Saturday evening an extremely racy surface greeted the competitors and Eric slowly worked his way forward in the field throughout the event before crossing the finish line in the 6th spot behind race winner, Josh Putnam, Dennis Erb Jr., Ray Cook, Tanner English, and Michael Chilton.

November 3rd, 2013 - The 39th Annual National 100 at East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) found Eric Cooley piloting his Bryson Motorsports #33b Super Late Model.

Forty Super Late Models entered the event, and after qualifying 7th fastest in the field against a talented field of competitors Eric raced to a 2nd place finish in his heat race, which positioned him starting 7th in the 100 lap, $20,000-to-win finale.

A heavy and fast surface greeted the competitors for much of Sunday evening's feature, and Cooley raced in the top ten for much of the event before crossing the finish line in 11th.

1October 26th, 2013 - Eric Cooley piloted his #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle over the weeked in the 19th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi).

A strong field of 42 Super Late Models looked to conquer the $15,000-to-win event, and in preliminary action on Friday night Cooley earned the 3rd starting spot for his heat race via his qualifying perferformance. He would go on to finish 3rd in his heat race to lock into the 15th starting spot for Saturday night's 100 lap finale at the 1/3 mile oval.

During the course of the feature at the Rodney Wing owned facility Cooley advanced six spots to finish 9th at the checkered flag.

October 19th, 2013 - Saturday night was a great outing for Eric Cooley as he raced to the victory in the Prelude to the Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) in his #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model. The win marked his tenth triumph of the 2013 season.

Via preliminary action Cooley earned the outside-front-row starting spot for the feature with Bub McCool starting to his inside. As the feature went green Cooley bolted to the lead, and never looked back on his way to his first-ever victory at the facility, which came over Bub McCool, and Chris Smith.

1October 12th, 2013 - Eric Cooley enjoyed a great outing over the weekend in his #33b Bryson Motorsports/78 Towing & Recovery/Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in the 10th Annual Magnolia State Cotton Pickin' 100.

A talented field of 52 entries took part in the event, and via qualifications Cooley earned the 2nd starting spot for his heat race. He would go on to race to the win in the heat to earn the 2nd starting spot for Saturday night's $20,000-to-win, 100 lap finale, where he lined up alongside Jimmy Owens.

As the feature went green Cooley settled into a top five position and would run throughout the feature for the duration of the event before registering a 5th place finish behind race winner, Jimmy Owens, Billy Moyer Jr., Bobby Pierce, and John Blankenship.

1October 6th, 2013 - Eric Cooley traveled to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) on Saturday evening for the annual Dixie Shootout, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). He would start his night by finishing 6th in his heat race, and with only the top four finishers transferring to the feature he was forced to run a b-main. In the b-main Eric advanced to a 4th place finish, but unfortunately with only the top three finishers earning a spot int he 50 lap finale his night came to an early end.

On Sunday evening both drivers were slated to compete at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia), but Mother Nature had other ideas as the event was nixed by rain.

Thirty-five entries took part in the $5,000-to-win, All American 50 at the 1/4 mile oval, and Eric won his qualifier to lock into the 11th starting spot for the finale. September 7th, 2013 - Saturday evening was a rough and tumble night as the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model competitors went 1into battle at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in a $2,500-to-win slugfest.

Eric Cooley started his night by earning the 2nd fastest time in qualifications before racing to a 3rd place finish in the dash to lock into the 3rd starting spot for the 50 lap finale. On a very rough and fast track Cooley raced in the top five throughout the event before slowing on the final lap with mechanical issues. He would still be credited with a 4th place finish in the final rundown.

1September 1st, 2013 - Eric Cooley went into battle over the weekend with the NeSmith Late Model Series in the #19c Joe Minga-owned entry. Action opened on Friday night at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) with a $2,000-to-win event, which drew a field of 30 entries to the 3/8 mile oval. Eric started his night by qualifying 10th fastest in the field to lock into the 10th starting spot for the 40 lap finale. He went on to advance six spots to finish 4th behind race winner, Justin McRee, Kyle Bronson, and Tait Davenport. His performance earned him the Hedman Husler Hard Charger of the Race Award.

Saturday evening found the competition invading West Plains Motor Speedway (West Plains, Missouri) for a $2,500-to-win race at the 3/8 mile oval as the entry list increased to 32 entries. Eric earned the 3rd starting spot for the 50 lap feature after qualifying 3rd fastest in time trials. He ran in the 3rd spot until lap 20, when he spun to draw a caution. After rejoining the tail of the field Cooley rebounded to finish in the 14th spot.

Eric Cooley returned to his home track on Sunday evening for an event in his #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model. Twenty-five competitors took to the 3/8 mile oval, and via time trials he locked into the 3rd starting spot for the feature. He would stalk early front runners Jamie Tollison and Dylan Ames before charging to the lead on lap 8. Once out front he never looked back on his way to his 9th win of 2013! He was followed across the finish line by Jamie Tollison, Jason Brock, Dylan Ames, and Jamey Boland.

Cooley also pilotd the #19c Minga Motorsports entry in a $2,000-to-win, NeSmith Late Model Series program, which drew a field of 35 entries to the black ice. Via preliminary action Cooley locked into the 16th starting spot for the 40 lap feature. In the main event he put on a passing display as he rocketed from deep in the field to record a 4th place finish behind race winner, Chase Washington, Ronnie Johnson, and Evan Ellis.

1August 10th, 2013 - Eric Cooley parked his #33 Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model in victory lane on Saturday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) to register his eighth win of the 2013 campaign!

Nineteen Super Late Models entered the program, and after qualifying 3rd fastest in time trials he locked into the 3rd starting spot for the finale. Cooley raced at the front of the pack throughout the event before taking the lead on lap 15. Once out front he never relinquished the lead to score the win over Richie Stephens, Jamie Tollison, Jason Brock, and Brent Barrett.

1August 3rd, 2013 - Eric Cooley competed with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Models on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) in a $2,500-to-win event that attracted 23 entries to the 1/3 mile oval. Qualifications left Cooley short of locking into the feature event, but a 2nd place finish in his b-main positioned him starting 11th in the 50 lap finale. July 20th, 2013 - Eric Cooley competed in his home state of Mississippi on Saturday night with a $5,000-to-win, Southern All Star (SAS) Super Late Model race at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi). Thirty-eight entries took to the slick, 3/8 mile oval, and Eric started his night by blazing to fast time honors with a 14.488 second lap around the oval, which locked him into the pole position for the 40 lap finale. Cooley was joined on the front row by Klint Byars, and as the race went green Byars assumed the lead with Eric in tow. Byars would lead until lap 20, when Cooley raced his way to the point. Eric held down the top spot until lap 32, when Chris Wall slipped past for the lead. Wall went on to score the win with Cooley in 2nd. Riley Hickman, Dane Dacus, and Byars rounded out the top five.

1July 13th, 2013 - Eric Cooley continued his red-hot 2013 campaign by racing to his seventh victory of the season on Saturday night with a Super Late Model triumph at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi). Eric started his night by setting quick time, and then after a rain delay proceeded to lead every lap of the feature on the way to the victory, which came over Doug Showah, Jason Brock, Tony Shelton, and Kurt Radojcsics.

Cooley also competed in the Limited Late Model division, where he recorded a 5th place finish behind race winner, Mark Stokes, Eric Carr, Shay Knight, and Chad McCool.

June 28th, 2013 - On Saturday evening Eric entered a Weekly Racing Series Event at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in his #33b Bryson Motorsports Super Late Model. Eighteen entries were on hand for the event, and after qualifying fourth fastest in his group Eric raced to a second place finish behind race winner, Klint Byars. June 27th, 2013 - Eric Cooley entered the first, UMP Summernationals event of his career on Thursday night at Clayhill Motorsports (Atwood, Tennessee) as a $5,000-to-win program was contested at the 1/4 mile oval. Thirty Super Late Models registered for action, and Eric started his night by qualifying third fastest in his group to lock into the third starting spot for his heat race. Cooley went on to finish fourth, which positioned him starting eleventh on the grid for the 40 lap feature. He would race his way into the top ten early in the event before crossing the finish line in eighth.

1June 22nd, 2013 - Eric Cooley took part in a single event over the weekend as he traveled to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Saturday night to compete in a $2,500-to-win, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model event at the 1/3 mile oval.

Twenty-one entries were on hand for the program, and after qualifying in the top four in his group he locked into the pole-sitter's dash, where he recorded a sixth place finish. Via his dash finish he started sixth on the grid for the 50 lap feature at the speed plant. During the course of the event he mounted a charge forward as he raced his way to a second place finish behind race winner, Chris Wall.

June 15th, 2013 - Eric Cooley entered the annual Clash at the Mag at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) over the weekend, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).

A strong field of forty-six Super Late Models entered the event , and while Eric fell just short of transferring to the main event via heat race action on Friday night, he would claim the win in his b-main on Saturday night to earn the eighteenth starting spot. He raced around mid-pack for much of the feature, which was taped by the Lucas Oil Production Studios cameras, before registering a strong twelfth place finish at the checkered flag.

1June 8th, 2013 - It was another great night for Eric Cooley on Saturday evening as he traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for a Weekly Racing Series Event with his #33b Bryson Motorsports Super Late Model and his #33b Bryson Motorsports Crate Late Model.

In the Super Late Model ranks fifteen entries were entered, and Eric started the night by blazing to fast time honors to earn the pole for the feature event. In the main event he stormed to the victory, which came over Jason Brock, Chris Smith, Jamie Tollison, and Dylan Ames. The victory was his sixth of the 2013 campaign.

Cooley also competed in the Crate Late Model division, where twenty-four drivers threw their names into the hat to do battle. Struggles in qualifying left him starting fifteenth on the feature grid, and during the course of the finale he advance eight spots to finish seven at the checkered flag.

1June 1st, 2013 - Eric Cooley returned to Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday evening as he once gain competed in both the Super Late Model and Crate Late Model divisions.

In the Super Late Model class Cooley started second in the feature and blazed to the feature win, which marked his fifth victory of the 2013 campaign.

The Crate Late Model class found Cooley starting sixth in the thirteenth car field before racing his way forward to finish second behind race winner, Jeremy Shaw.

May 26th, 2013 - On Sunday night Eric Cooley and Bryson Motorsports was once again busy as he piloted his entries in two divisions as he made the short trip to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for a NeSmith Late Model Series event and a Super Late Model program.

In the NeSmith Late Model division a strong field of 49 competitors registered for battle at the slick, 3/8 mile oval. Cooley started his night by qualifying tenth fastest before winning his heat race to lock into the tenth starting spot for the $2,000-to-win, 40 lap finale. During the course of the finale he advanced to a ninth place finish.

The Super Late Model division found a strong field of twenty-seven entries in the pits, and Eric raced to the win over Rick Rickman, Mike Boland, Clay Fisher, and Brett White.

May 25th, 2013 - Eric Cooley was once again pulling double duty at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in the Super Late Model and Crate Late Model divisions. In the Super Late Model division the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model tour, sanctioned a $2,500-to-win event, which drew a field of twenty entries to the 1/3 mile oval. Twenty entries were on hand for the program, and Eric finished second in his qualifier to lock into the twelfth starting spot for the 50 lap finale. In the feature he advanced eight spots to finish fourth behind race winner, Clay Fisher, Chris Wall, and Chad Thrash.

In the Limited Late Model division Cooley charged to the feature win over a thirteen car field with Mark Stokes, Eric Carr, Hunter Carroll, and Neil Baggett rounded out the top five. The victory was his third of the year!

May 18th, 2013 - After a slow start to the year Eric Cooley was able to kick things up a notch on Saturday night as he scored a pair of feature wins in his Bryson Motorsports entry at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi).

The Super Late Model division found Cooley registering the fastest time around the 1/3 mile oval in his #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Jeff Burns Racing Engine Super Late Model to earn the pole position for the feature. He ran second during the opening laps before jumping to the lead on lap 7. Once out front he never looked back on his way to the victory, which came over Jamie Tollison, Randy Body Thompson, Jason Brock, and Jeff White.

In the Late Model Stock/Crate Late Model Cooley started the night by advancing from the third position in his heat race to a second place finish to lock into the third starting spot for the feature. Early in the main event he bided his time before using the cushion on lap 8 to jump to a lead that he would never relinquish. Jeff Holloway, Hunter Carroll, Shay Knight, and Johnny Smith rounded out the top five.

1May 11th, 2013 - Eric Cooley pulled double duty in a Weekly Racing Series Event at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in the Super Late Model and Crate Late Model divisions on Saturday evening. In the Super Late Model class seventeen entries were on hand, and via qualifying he earned the fourth starting spot for the feature event. He would go on to race in the top five throughout the event before crossing the finish line in third behind race winner, Rick Rickman, and Brian Rickman.

In the Crate Late Model division Cooley started the night by missing hot laps due to power steering issues in a car that had not left his shop in almost two years. He earned the third starting spot for the feature and quickly worked his way to the front of the field. He appeared to be on his way to a feature win before a tangle with a lapped car brought his night to a disappointing end in the twentieth position

April 6th, 2013 - Bryson Motorsports team driver, Eric Cooley, finally dodged Mother Nature over the weekend and took his #33c Barry Wright Super Late Model into battle at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in a Weekly Racing Series Event at the 3/8 mile oval.

With twenty-four Super Late Models entered Cooley blazed to fast time honors in qualifications to lock into the pole position for the main event with Dylan Ames joining him on the front row. Cooley led from the drop of the green flag and set a blistering pace as he had lapped up to the sixth position by late in the race when disaster struck. As Cooley was navigating lapped traffic through the final corner a slide job gone bad was executed by Dylan Ames, which sent Cooley hard into the wall. He would come to a stop ten feet from the finish line, where he was credited with a disappointing sixth place finish as the final car on the lead lap.

March 17th, 2013 - Eric kicked off his 2013 campaign over the weekend with a pair of Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model events in his home state.

The action began on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi), where thirty Super Late Model pilots registered for battle in the $2,500-to-win event. Via preliminary action Cooley locked into the fifteenth starting spot for the 50 lap feature. During the course of the main event he advanced eight spots on his way to a seventh place finish.

On Sunday afternoon the action shifted north to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for a $2,000-to-win, MSCCS event. Twenty-six entries were on had, and a second place finish in his qualifier locked Cooley into the twelfth starting spot for the 40 lap finale. On a very slick track Cooley passed four cars to finish eighth as he claimed his second, top ten finish of the weekend.

October 27th, 2012 - Bryson Motorsports driver, Eric Cooley, rolled into Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) over the weekend for the 9th Annual Southern Belle Cotton Pickin' 100. The $15,000-to-win event attracted one of the most talented, unsanctioned fields of entries of any event in the country this year as sixty-three competitors filled the pit area.

Eric Cooley missed the transfer to the feature by a single spot on Friday night with a fourth place finish in his heat race, which resulted in him starting second in a b-main on Saturday night. He raced to the b-main win to lock into the nineteenth starting spot for the main event. He would go on to record a sixteenth place finish in the final rundown.

October 13th, 2012 - Bryson Motorsports and Eric Cooley went into battle over the weekend in the 18th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi), which posted a $15,000-to-win/$1,000-to-start purse.

Eric started his weekend by piloting his #33b Bryson Motorsports Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model to the eighth fastest time in his group, which rewarded him with the third starting spot in the third heat race. Cooley would go on to race to a third place finish in the heat race, which locked him into the fifteenth starting spot for the 100 lap finale on Saturday night as he qualified for his first-ever, Fall Classic feature. . Eric battled around mid-pack for much of the event before crossing the finish line in the thirteenth spot.

1October 6th, 2012 - Eric took his #33b Bryson Motorsports Barry Wright Crate Late Model into battle over the weekend with the NeSmith Late Model Series at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) in the 6th Annual Gumbo Nationals. The $5,000-to-win event attraced a field of thirty-nine competitors to the 1/4 mile oval, and after qualifying twelfth fastest he started third in the fourth heat race. Early in the heat he slipped back a few spots before rebounding to a third place finish, which locked him into the twelfth starting spot for Saturday night's 60 lap finale. In Saturday night's main event Cooley would slowly work his way forward through the pack en route to a fourth place finish behind race winner, Jeremy Shaw, David Earl Gentry, and Mathew Turner. September 8th, 2012 - Saturday night found Eric returning to action with the All American 50 at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi). The unsanctioned, $5,000-to-win event drew a field of thirty Super Late Models, and Cooley began the night by qualifying sixth fastest in his group to lock into the eleventh starting spot for the 50 lap finale. Unfortunately bad luck would strike in the opening laps of the feature, when Eric lost power steering and was forced to retire from the event. He was credited with a 25th place finish. 1August 25th, 2012 - After a few weeks away from the track due to rain Eric returned to action on Saturday night with a Weekly Racing Series Event. With nineteen Super Late Models entered Cooley qualified third fastest to earn the third starting spot for the main event. Early in the race he would race his way into the second spot. August 5th, 2012 - Eric and Bryson Motorsports entered a single event over the weekend as he was in action at his 1home track, Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in the 11th Annual James Nickoles Memorial, which was sanctioned by the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model tour. With 25 entries on hand for the $5,000-to-win event Eric began his night by qualifying fourth fastest in his group to lock into the eighth starting spot for the dash. In the dash he advanced to a fifth place finish to lock into the fifth starting spot for the 50 lap feature. During the course of the feature he battled in the top five before crossing the finish line in fourth behind race winner, Ronny Lee Hollingsworth, Dane Dacus, and Scott Dedwylder. The $3,500-to-win, Southern All Star (ASA) Super Late Model event drew a field of thirty-one competitors, and after winning his b-main Cooley locked into the twelfth starting spot for the finale. In the main event Cooley would race around mid-pack for the duration of the feature before crossing the finish line in the thirteenth position. July 27th, 2012 - Eric made history on Friday night by winning the first Super Late Model feature of his career with a $2,000 triumph at Thunderhill Speedway (Summertown, Tennessee). Fifteen entries were on hand for the event, and Cooley started the night by rocketing to fast time honors with an 11.632 second lap around the high-banked oval in his #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Jeff Burns Racing Engine Super Late Model. Via his qualifying effort he earned the pole position for the 30 lap finale with Jerry Owens starting to his outside. After a failed attempt to get the race underway, the second time would be the charm, and Cooley bolted to the lead. July 24th, 2012 - Eric entered his first Schaeffer's Southern Nationals Series Super Late Model event of the season on Tuesday night at East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama). Twenty-six entries took part in the $3,500-to-win event, and in time trials Cooley was ninth fastest, which left him one spot short of locking into the feature. As a result, he had to run a b-main, which he won to claim the ninth starting spot for the 35 lap finale. July 7th, 2012 - Eric and Bryson Motorsports returned to action in the #33 Barry Wright Super Late Model over the weekend in the Clash at the Mag, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). The $20,000-to-win event saw 50 competitors register for action, and in time trials on Friday night Eric qualified eighth fastest in his group to earn the fourth starting spot for the fourth heat race. With the top four cars moving onto the main event he would race his way to a third place finish to lock into the twelfth starting spot for the 100 lap finale on Saturday evening.

On Saturday evening a large crowd filled the grandstands and the SPEED TV cameras were rolling to catch all of the action at the 3/8 mile oval. On a fast race track, which made passing difficult, Eric would race around mid-pack for the first half of the event before ultimately retiring to a seventeenth place finish. June 30th, 2012 - After almost a month away from action Eric resumed his 2012 campaign on Saturday night with his first ever trip to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for a $5,000-to-win, FASTRAK Late Model Series event. Thirty-nine competitors entered the event, and Eric led the way in time trials by registering the fastest lap around the 1/2 mile oval. Via his qualifying effort he earned the pole position for the first heat race, and he stormed to the win to lock into the pole position for the 40 lap feature. He was joined on the front row by Jonathan Davenport, and as the race went green Davenport jumped to the lead with Cooley in tow. May 27th, 2012 - Sunday evening would prove to be an extremely frustrating outing for the team as they again went into battle with a pair of entries at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi). In the NeSmith Late Model division forty-six competitors register for battle in the $2,000-to-win, 40 lap event. Eric began his night by qualifying second to Justin McRee to earn the outside-front-row starting spot for the main event alongside McRee. As the race went green Cooley bolted to the lead and he would hold the top spot for the duration of the event on his way to the apparent win. However, in post-race inspection he was disqualified by NeSmith Late Model Series officials after the officials indicated that his tires tested illegal for a chemical alteration.

In regards to the situation, Eric comments, "This is a very disappointing situation for our team. We did not alter any of our tires in any manner. We are sending the tire to an independent testing lap for indepth evaluation of the tire's composition. Once we have those results we will take the appropriate, further actions."

Cooley also participated in the Southern All Stars (SAS) Super Late Model portion of the program, and with forty competitors in action he won the second b-main to lock into the twelfth starting spot for the 50 lap, $5,000-to-win, Governor's Cup. May 5th, 2012 - Eric was behind the wheel of the #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright Race Car over the weekend in a pair of NeSmith Late Model Series events in Missouri and Tennessee. The weekend opened on Friday night with a $2,000-to-win event at Malden Speedway (Malden, Missouri). Twenty-eight cars entered the event, and Eric began his night by qualifying twelfth fastest, which earned him the pole position for a b-main. He claimed the win in the b-main to lock into the twelfth starting spot for the feature. Cooley would go on to advance to a ninth place finish.

1April 28th, 2012 - On Saturday night the team took part in a Weekly Racing Series Event with their #33b Bryson Motorsports/Crate Late Model and #33b Bryson Motorsports/BAD Chassis. He began the night in the NeSmith Crate Late Model division by setting fast time to earn the pole position for the first heat race. With the top side being the preferred line he recorded a second place finish in his heat, which locked him into the third starting spot for the feature. He would advance one spot in the feature to finish second behind race winner, Jeremy Shaw.

In the Super Late Model division Cooley would qualify third fastest in time trials, which locked him into the third starting spot for the feature. 1April 27th, 2012 - Friday night found Eric entering a $10,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model event at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) in the #33b Bryson Motorsports/BAD Chassis/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model. With 35 cars entered Cooley finished sixth in his heat, which left him two spots short of a transfer to the feature. After starting on the second row of his b-main Cooley advanced to a third place finish, which locked him into the 22nd starting spot for the 50 lap feature. April 14th, 2012 - On Saturday night the team entered the second night of the 1st Annual Spring Throw Down at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi). In the NeSmith Crate Late Model division a $1,000-to-win event was held, and it would be a great night for Eric as he began his night by setting fast time in his group to earn a front row starting spot, alongside Chase Washington. For the first half of the feature it would be a repeat of Friday night's main event as Cooley led the way with Washington in pursuit. However, Washington would soon find his way to the lead as Cooley slipped to second. However, a few laps later Cooley would shoot to the lead, but the race would be far from over as a few laps later Jeremy Shaw moved to the lead. In the closing laps Eric would battle back to the front on his way to his third win of the 2012 season. He was followed across the finish line by Jeremy Shaw, Chase Washington, Evan Ellis, and Kyle Shaw.

In the $8,000-to-win, Super Late Model event, with 43 entries on hand, Eric's luck would not be as good as he would fall just short of transferring to the feature via his heat race and b-main, which brought his night to a disappointing, early end.

April 13th, 2012 - Less than a week after the biggest win of his career, Eric returned to action on Friday night with the opener for the inaugural Spring Throw Down at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi). He was in action in the NeSmith Late Model division and the Super Late Model class.

With an $800 check on the line, a strong field of 31 entries were on hand in the NeSmith Late Model division. Eric began the night by qualifying second fastest in his group to lock into the fourth starting spot for the feature. Early in the 20 lap feature he would find his way to the lead and would maintain the top spot until Chase Washington slipped by with just five laps remaining to claim the win. Cooley would go on to finish second.

The Super Late Model class battled in a $2,000-to-win event as 35 cars registered for action. Eric qualified sixth fastest in his group, which earned him the third starting spot for a b-main. With the top three cars moving onto the feature, Cooley finished third to lock into the 16th starting spot for the 30 lap feature. 1April 7th, 2012 - After seeing the team's scheduled, $5,000-to-win, NeSmith Late Model Series event at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) postponed by rain, the team decided to heat east to Green Valley Speedway (Glencoe, Alabama) for a $10,000-to-win, Crate Late Model event. With 43 entries on hand, Eric qualified second fastest in his group before winning the first heat race to lock into the pole position for Saturday night's finale. As the main event green on Saturday evening Compton Jr. assumed control of the lead, and Eric would pursue him for 28 laps before using lapped traffic to his advantage on lap 29 to take over the top spot. Once out front Cooley would find the going to be far from easy as Chris Wilson made a late race charge to try and take the top spot. Eric would fend off the advances from Wilson as he went on to pick up the biggest win of his career. He was followed across the finish line by Wilson, Compton Jr., Jake Teague, and Chase Edge. April 1st, 2012 - Sunday evening found Eric pulling double-duty at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in a Weekly Racing Series Event. In the Super Late Model division he qualified sixteenth fastest before racing his way to a thirteenth place finish in the twenty-two car field.

With twenty-six, NeSmith Late Models entered Eric would earn the eleventh starting spot for the main event via time trials. In the feature he would race to as high as the third position before over-heating issues with five laps remaining forced him to retire to a 20th place finish in the final rundown. 1March 31st, 2012 - On Saturday night Eric entered a Weekly Racing Series Event at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi). After arriving at the track late due to hauler issues, Eric qualified seventh fastest to earn the seventh starting spot for the main event. During the course of the feature he would advance to a third place finish behind winner, Ronny Lee Hollingsworth, and Brian Rickman. Full results are available at www.ColumbusSpeedway.net.

March 24th, 2012 - The team traveled to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Saturday night for a $2,500-to-win, MIssissippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) event. Twenty-nine cars registered for battle, and after qualifying fourth fastest in his group, Eric finished seventh in the dash to lock into the seventh starting spot for the main event. Cooley would battle in the top ten early in the event before bad luck struck as mechanical woes sent him pitside. He was credited with a 22nd place finish. March 17th, 2012 - Eric pulled double duty on Saturday night at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) during the 17th Annual James King Memorial as he took his #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright Crate Late and his #33c 78 Towing & Recovery/Victory Circle By Moyer/Jeff Burns Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle. The Super Late Model portion of the program was sanctioned by theMississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) as 36 cars entered the $5,000-to-win event. Via time trials Eric locked into the dash for the feature event. In the dash he finished eighth, which earned him the 8th starting spot for the feature. During the course of the 50 lap main event, he would advance to a fifth place finish behind race winner, Terry English, Scott Dedwylder, Kyle Beard, and Brian Rickman.

In the $700-to-win, Crate Late Model event Eric began the night by registering the fastest lap of the night in qualifications, which earned him $100 plus the pole position for the feature. He would grab the lead quickly in the feature and never looked back on his way to the win, which was his first of the year and the first for Norman Bryson. March 12th, 2012 - Welcome to the redesigned and relaunched website for Eric Cooley from Fulton, Mississippi. Eric is 21-years-old, and the 2012 season marks his twelfth year of competition. In 2012 he is piloting his #33c Cooley Motorsports/Victory Circle by Moyer/Jeff Burns Racing Engine Super Late Model as well as the #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright Crate Late Model in select events. The next scheduled event for the team is the 17th Annual James King Memorial this Saturday, March 17th at Columbus Speedway (Columbus,Mississippi).

March 4th, 2012 - Eric opened his 2012 campaign over the weekend as he pulled double-duty in the 15th Annual Bama Bash at Green Valley Speedway (Glencoe, Alabama). With a $15,015-to-win, Super Late Model purse on the line Cooley began his weekend on Saturday by qualifying second fastest in his group to earn the second starting spot for his heat race. He would battle for the lead early in the heat before jumping the cushion, which caused him to fall four spots to a sixth place finish. With only the top four cars moving onto the feature, he was forced to run the consolation event on Sunday evening. After starting sixth on the grid in the consolation race, Cooley advanced to a third place finish to lock into the 19th starting spot for the 75 lap finale. Passing would be difficult in Sunday night's finale, and Eric would retire early to a 20th place finish.

Cooley also took part in the Crate Late Model portion of the program, and would qualify fourth fastest of the 32 entries on hand on Saturday evening to lock into the fourth starting spot for Sunday night's finale. 1November 20th, 2011 - Eric was again in action in the #27 Larry Harrod Motorsports Scorpion Crate Late Model on Sunday evening as the action moved to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for a $2,000-to-win, NeSmith Late Model Series event. Forty competitors registered for action, and after qualifying fourth fastest in time trials, Eric locked into the fourth starting spot for the 40 lap finale. Early in the feature he would race his way to the second spot as he pursued his car owner and early leader, Larry Harrod. By lap 10 the duo were side-by-side for the lead, but a lap 21 restart would see Jeremy Shaw slip past both competitors as he raced his way to the lead. A few laps later, Cooley would move past Harrod for the second spot. Eric would catch the leader, Shaw, late in the race, but would be unable to make the pass as he settled for a second place finish at the checkered flag. 1November 19th, 2011 - Eric took the #27 Larry Harrod Motorsports Scorpion Crate Late Model into battle on Saturday evening at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) in a $5,000-to-win, NeSmith Late Model Dirt Series event. The event served as the conclusion of the event, which began back on Labor Day, but was rained out after the first night's preliminary action was completed. Cooley was not present for the initial running of the event, so he had to start at the tail of a b-main. He would race from the back of a b-main to lock into the 18th starting spot for the 75 lap finale. His passing display in the b-main was just the beginning though as he would march forward thirteen spots in the feature to record a solid, fifth place finish behind race winner, Rodney Wing, Mike Boland, Dan Breuer, and Johnny Stokes. November 5th, 2011 - Eric entered his final event of the season over the weekend in the 5th Annual Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) as he looked to claim the PRO Dirt Car Series Championship as well as the tour's Rookie of the Year honors. Thirty-five Super Late Models entered the $7,000-to-win/$700-to-start, 70 lap event, and Eric's weekend would start slowly as he struggled in time trials. As a result, he started eighth in his heat race before advancing to a fifth place finish, which left him one spot short of a transfer to the feature.

Via his heat performance he started on the front row of a b-main on Saturday night before claiming the b-main win to lock into the 17th starting spot for the finale. In the feature he would advance eight spots to a ninth place finish to claim the PRO Dirt Car Series Championship and the Jeff Burns Racing Engines Rookie of the Year honors!
