May 24th, 2015 - Following a rained out show at Moulton Speedway last weekend, Eric Cooley resumed racing action this weekend at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi). With 32 qualifiers signed up for Saturday night’s Salute To The Navy 40, Eric went on to record a pretty successful night. After starting in 17th place for the NeSmith Chevrolet feature, Eric worked his way up the field to achieve a 4th place finish in the 40-lap event.
A stout field of 47 entries took part in the event, and Eric started the night by qualifying 3rd fastest in his group to earn the 2nd spot for his heat race. He went on to win his heat race to earn the pole position for the feature. The 40 lap finale found Cooley battling the setup as he slipped to a 9th place finish.

May 2nd, 2015 - Eric Cooley was a busy man over the weekend as he competed in a doubleheader of racing action on Friday and Saturday night at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) in his Bryson Motorsports Crate Late Model and Super Late Model.
On Friday night a $2,000 top prize was posted for the Super Late Model competitors in the unsanctioned event. Eric earned a spot for the feature via preliminary action and would ultimately record a 7th place finish.
NeSmith Late Model Series competition found a stout field of fifty-five competitors registering for action. Cooley blazed to the 5th fastest time in qualifications to lock into the 5th starting spot for the finale. In the main event he raced to a 4th place finish behind race winner, William Thomas, Chase Edge, and Ronnie Johnson.
Saturday evening found the Southern All Star (SAS) thundering into town to sanction the Super Late Model portion of the program. With $4,000 on the line Cooley qualified for the finale, but retired early with mechanical issues. He was credited with a 25th place finish.
In NeSmith Late Model action Eric topped all challengers in qualifications with a 15.161 second lap around the 1/3 mile oval. His lap earned him the pole position for the $2,500-to-win feature. Eric led the first two laps before seeing Matt Henderson and Tyler Clem slip past. Cooley lurked in the top five throughout the feature before surging to a second place finish behind race winner, Ronnie Johnson at the checkered flag.

April 11th, 2015 - Eric Cooley returned to Moulton Speedway (Danville, Alabama) on Saturday night for a $2,000-to-win, Super Late Model event.
Cooley timed in second overall to lock into the second starting spot for the main event. When the race went green, Eric bolted to the race lead and never looked back, leading flag-to-flag to the victory aboard his #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model. April 4th, 2015 - Eric Cooley entered a Weekly Racing Series program at Moulton Speedway (Danville, Alabama) on Saturday night, and picked up his first victory of the 2015 season.
Cooley locked into the main even via preliminary action and drove his #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model to the victory over Adam Martin, Shay Miller, T.J. Alford, and Howard Means.

March 28th, 2015 - Eric Cooley resumed competition on Saturday night with a $2,000-to-win program at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi).
Thirty Super Late Models registered for the event, which was sanctioned by the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS). Via preliminary action Cooley raced into the eleventh starting spot for the 40-lap finale. During the course of the feature he battled around mid-pack for most of the race before crossing the finish line in the thirteenth position.

January 11th, 2015 - Eric Cooley opened his 2015 season over the weekend in his #33b Bryson Motorsports Barry Wright at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) during the 24th Annual Ice Bowl. Heath Lawson Photo
Saturday afternoon saw time trials being contested for the fifty-three entries on hand, and Cooley started his weekend by setting the fastest time in his group during qualifications with a 14.564 second lap around the 1/3 mile oval. Via his qualifying performance Cooley locked into the pole position for his heat race, which he won to lock into the fourth starting position for Sunday afternoon's finale.
Unfortunately, mechanical issues on Sunday would force Cooley to retire on lap three to a disappointing 25th place finish in the final rundown.

November 2nd, 2014 - The 40th Annual National 100 at East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) found Eric Cooley piloting his Bryson Motorsports #33b Super Late Model over the weekend.
Thirty-three Super Late Models entered the event, and after qualifying fourteenth fastest overall again a talented field of competitors Eric raced to a fourth place finish in his heat race, which positioned him starting fourteenth in the 100 lap, $20,000-to-win finale.
In Sunday evening's feature, Cooley raced around mid-pack for much of the event before retiring to a disappointing 22nd place finish.

October 11th, 2014 - Eric Cooley piloted his #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model in the 11th Annual Magnolia State Cotton Pickin' 100 over the weekend at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi).
A talented field of seventy-two entries took part in the event, and via qualifications Cooley earned the second starting spot for his heat race. He would go on to finish fourth, leaving him one spot short of locking into the $20,000-to-win, 100 lap finale, and sending him to a b-main on Saturday.
Eric raced to the win in his respective b-main to lock into the feature event but, retired early on to a 21st place finish in the final rundown.

October 4th, 2014 - Eric Cooley traveled to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) over the weekend for the 8th Annual Gumbo Nationals, which was sanctioned by the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS).
A field of fifty Super Late Models converted on the 1/3 mile oval with preliminary action contested on Friday night as Cooley raced to a third place finish in his heat race, earning him the thirteenth starting spot for Saturday's, $10,000-to-win finale.
Eric enjoyed a solid performance in Saturday evening's 75 lap main event as he advanced from his thirteenth starting spot to register an eighth place finish at the checkered flag.

September 20th, 2014 - Eric Cooley entered a single event over the weekend in his #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright Super Late Model as he traveled to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) to compete with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS).
Thirty-three entries took part in the $2,500-to-win, Mississippi State Championship, and Eric won the dash after setting the fastest time in his group to lock into the pole position for the feature with Neil Baggett alongside. In the feature, Baggett jumped out to the early lead with Cooley in tow. Cooley trailed Baggett for much of the race before making a bid for the top spot with just three laps to go. While attempting the pass, Cooley lost control of his entry in turns three and four, bringing his night to an early end with a disappointing eleventh place finish.

September 5th, 2014 - The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model competitors returned to Crowley's Ridge Speedway (Paragould, Arkansas) on Friday night to contest the $3,000-to-win program that was nixed by rain one week ago.
Thirty-one entries were on hand for the event, and Eric started his night with a heat race win to lock into the second starting spot for the finale. The opening laps of the finale were plagued by cautions, and during one of them Cooley began leaking fluid and was forced to retire as his night came to an early end. He was credited with a 20th place finish in the final rundown.
